I know this is an old thread, but I am having the exact same issue with my 2025 Jeep Gladiator Nighthawk. Weird delay in 3rd gear on acceleration, and 4-3 gear downshift is firm with a lurch forward while downshifting. I just got it out of the shop due to my stock tires rubbing. The service manager argued with me saying that I had put on different tires. It took 3 people to convince him that the 2025 Nighthawk edition comes stock with 275/55/r20 General Grabber a/t sport w. They trimmed my fender liners to stop the rub. Then, I took it in again due to a loud droning sound from 60-70 mph with minor vibrations. The same service manager rode with me and said he didn't hear anything. He had them road force balace the tires, but the sound is still there. He told me I have plenty of warranty left and to drive it until it gets worse. Funny thing is , other people can hear it. The only other dealership is 25ish miles away. I just want my Gladiator fixed. I am concerned about powertrain issues. This is my first Jeep, and I love it! I am just tired of getting the run around. I don't want a catastrophic failure that tears up a bunch of stuff. It has 3600 miles on it and I bought it with 102 miles a month ago. Any ideas?

@Arthur
If you're unhappy with the results at your local dealership, take it over to the other one. A drive 25 miles away definitely isn't far, especially if it leads to a resolution more inline with your expectations.

@Arthur I had/have a harmonic hum vibration at 55-60 mph back in 2019. Nothing was fixed because they didn't want to replace everything trying to chase it down. Same thing, "it's under warranty, drive it, we'll document it jic something fails". Nearly 100k miles now, and no failures. I feel lucky

The harmonic drone is cause by tires. I know your thinking that guys crazy but after 143k I know I am right I am on my 5th set of tires 2 of the 5 sets droned. Something in the way some tires are made that do this . General tires used to be trash tires cheap. My guess is there lies your problem. Nothing short of new tires will male it disappear.

Great info- thanks! I’ll drive it awhile and see how it does. I love the truck- there’s just nothing else like it. I’ve been a Toyota guy for 20 years but the Gladiator made me switch. I love everything about it so hope it’s reliable!
Yeah i bet you switched, how many axles did you snap? Had a buddy with a tacoma and he would snap one all the time, he literally got to the point he could swap it out that night and be on the trail again the next day. LOL he would just be like "yea taco life, you wouldn't understand" bout killed me the first time he said it
