With my comments in mind, this is until someone has an oversized tire mounting solution :). Hello vendors :)
I hear you. Sure there will be more options in time. Just placed my order with Discount tire direct, went with 5 KM KM544, satin gray with black lip with 37" Nitto Ridge Grappler. In the past I've run Cooper STT Pros and was thinking I'd like less aggressive. Was thinking of the Falken AT3W, have had great luck with them but wanted a more aggressive look. Settled on the Nittos, a lot of guys here running them. Has a very aggressive sidewall so you get the look without the all out M/T ride.

Also check out Milestar Padagonia MTs, aggressive looking but nice on the road. That's what I went with.

Similar situation here. Getting ready to order 37s and wheels for my JTR. I have a full size spare on my JKU and have in almost 200k miles....knock on wood, never needed the spare other than in the 5 tire rotation.
So my dilemma was..do I need a full size spare or will the factory 33 get me home. I would like a fullsize but all that underneath is a lot of clearance lost and in the northeast a disaster for any aftermarket wheel. Was thinking of buying a fullsize just for wheeling but reality is I can take one of my JKUs 37s for a wheeling trip.
I guess the real question is...spend an extra 5-6 hundred or not...LOL
Save your money unless you just Have to squeeze a bigger tire in the spare slot. A "33" will get you home on either axle as long as you do not lock the diff on that axle. You will have an open diff in that case and it won't care.
