Can you fit 5 1/4 in the sound bar for the 4”? Looking at some Fosgates would like to know before buying. Thanks

i did, the magnets on your original speakers are tiny. i got 4 inch for the bar and the 3 1/2's, then two 3 1/2's for the upper dash, though the 4 inch screw holes won't match up. i just screwed the new screws into the plastic. because the original speakers have a 3 screw pattern. there's not another speaker out there that does. i looked

What about the knee area? Was thinking of going Metra pods and 6 1/2” in them.

seriously, you better be good at what you do there. they're in pods and getting them out is not going to be easy. watch videos on it. you have to take apart the whole dash. i think it's a 4 hour job

and for the rear bass speaker you have to remove the back seat entirely

but if you want everything much louder you would need an external power amp to drive it

Even with only 2 8" speakers in the bar my front 6.5's are pretty much drowned out. I will be working with the guys at 12mfg.com to hopefully have another option for up front over the winter. Also they will be doing an 8" sub version that raises the seat 2" that will look just like the 6.5" setup I am running right now. I have to say that most people can't believe I only have 6.5" subs when they hear my system.

Which 4's did you go with for the soundbar? I was trying to match the 3.5 in the dash and the soundbar with the 4's (Kicker KS Series) and the Crutchfeld says the 3.5's won't fit in the soundbar but I cannot quite figure out the reason.
