Hey Everyone,
I know there are many threads with very similar topics but I am wondering what advice is out there for stock shocks replacements. To be clear, I do not want to lift my gladiator. I am putting 35s and will be getting Bushwhacker fender flares so there should be no rubbing issues. I want to upgrade the stock shocks to something really solid. There are lots of options out there for 2" and up lift kits.... but I want to know what shocks would be best with the stock dimensions! Thanks all!

Or, depending on your budget call teraflex and see what Falcons they have available for your set up

@RodRecket
Yeah those are the two options I am considering the highest right now :rock:. The Falcons look amazing.....

I really like the Squatted look. My JK had a 2inch lift and 35s. Highway was NOT fun lol... I want that added clearance without the lift.

Anyone on here from BC Canada? Rubi Take-offs? Id be interested!!!!

Same advice I give everyone, get a set of adjustable shocks with remote reservoirs.

Then no matter what you do, you can adjust the shocks to the situation.

I have a Rubi, the Fox factory setup doesn't impress me. Even unloaded the truck likes to wallow about.

Thanks @kevman65
Do you have a brand / product you are sold on? or is it just the adjustable aspect that you are suggesting?

They are all unobtanium right now, back ordered everywhere.

I like King, but they are most pricey. I would love to try a set of the Icons, motorcycle buddies of mine keep comparing them to Ohlins on a motorcycle and I loved my Ohlins.

Damn eh! Im in Canada too so its even harder. Everything is available in the states all over, getting stuff up here almost always is too expensive after shipping... not even worth it after a while.

How far are you from the border? Is it possible to get an address at a Mailboxes, Etc/UPS store in the US and ship it there?

Im damn far lol! I did live about 3 hours from the border but have moved much farther north. I just found a set of take offs that im going to try for now! And just found a set of rock slider take offs as well. Going to run both until I have more money to upgrade I think.

I put Rubicon take off shocks I got for very cheap to replace the shocks in my Sport S. It might be a slight improvement but honestly I have not seen anything to me where they are better than the stock shocks I had on. Eventually I as well would like to move to some better shocks but that will be awhile so the $150 Rubicon take off shocks I got will have to do the job. For road driving and light trails they seem to do ok

Yeah honestly that is kind of what I am expecting... I just found the rubicon shocks for 230 Canadian so you cannot really complain at that point. I want to eventually upgrade to something like the falcons but I dont have the money right now
