I don't need a list. The fact that Sport has crank windows and manual locks is all I need to know. I had a 4-door Wrangler like that, and it'll never happen again. What a pain in the ***.

My wife requires power windows and locks.......... so it's simple for us. It's a requirement, not an "option". She can't sit in the right seat and operate crank windows or reach back for a lock.

Yeah not to mention if a guy ever decided to try and resell a base Sport or God forbid try to trade it into a dealership for something else, you'd lose a LOT more money. Almost nobody wants non-power stuff anymore. It's a different world now.

Amen. It's amazing the looks I get from some people at these small town car shows when they look in my cars and look for the digital stereo stuff, ask what that is - oh, that's the factory 8 track, or they see the window cranks! Seriously, it's like the world didn't exist before they were born.
Again, I digress, you are right on those basics - that is something that absolutely impacts resale or trade value.

No power windows or locks can be inconvenient for a daily driver, but some subscribe to the theory, why pay for what you do not need. I bought a 2016 JKU WW with a K package, no power windows or locks. The Jeep was not a daily driver and spent 7 months of the year with its doors off.
I just traded it, and got $2k less than i paid for it new.

Some people are also looking for a JT on a budget or want to buy one to mod for a trail rig and are happy to get a stripped model.

I bought a base Sport. Figured doors are off 7-8 months of the year, and I’m not rolling down the windows in the Winter. And I kinda like the crank windows. I do miss having power locks, but it’s not my daily and the kids are long since gone, so it’s not really that big a deal. What I did not like about the Sport was I couldn’t get the heated seats. Plan to go aftermarket which is OK, but would’ve preferred them from the factory.
