I am about to do the rubicon take off to my Sport S max tow. I only got the 4 shocks and springs. I told the person I didnt need the arms, links or any of the cushions / isolators.

I am wondering if I messed up? I saw a post somewhere where a guy said he had some spring bow toward the tire on front, and noticed that the rubicon isolators he got with his take offs were different than the ones that he had stock.

Do I need to try to see if I can get ahold of the rubicon isolators or cushions?

I have read multiple times that they are the same across all lines, but ive ran across a couple of posts now that say otherwise.

When I put max tow REAR springs under my Overland and Rubicion FRONT springs under the front of my OVerland, I checked the other parts - they were the same. So all I swapped was the springs and shocks, nothing else, as all of the part numbers were the same.
Keep in mind that sometimes there are revision differences, for example an AE suffix may be replaced with an AF suffix, but otherwise in my case, all numbers were identical.
Since mine is in the middle, so to speak, and I had both Sport S max tow parts AND Rubicon parts, and they all matched (except for the springs and shocks, of course)
I would HOPE that mine is indicative of the others being the same! Hope being a key word - won't swear to it but in my case, I left the other stuff in the boxes and stored them away as they were the same so I figured if I ever broke or wore something out, I had some replacement pads, arms, etc.

Also not sure how or why springs would bow since they are a pretty straight direct shot unless a person got the supports turned wrong? There's a right and wrong way to set things in place and get the springs on them. Heck, the springs sat so perfectly upright on mine they almost stayed in place without my holding them.

Thanks for the response. The guy put a picture of the two isolators and how they were molded differently. I responded in the thread. It was like a budget broke hydro blue build thread or something. I’ll find his pics.
