Does this need to be addressed? Several weeks ago a shop installed a steersmarts drag link as a measure to stop death wobble issues. I now have 1500 miles or so on this new drag link. I don’t recall the end looking like this when originally installed.

I’m guessing I would need to twist the end link to adjust by loosening the clamps and turning the end link within the tube but it seems like if I did that my steering wheel would be off center.

You’re correct. At normal ride height at rest, the ball joint should be parallel to the pitman arm. As you said, very easy to adjust it. Just loosen the two clamps, rotate the pitman arm drag link end while holding the center section to keep it from rotating, then tighten. Done.

Thanks simple fix. I figured twisting that end would jack my steering wheel up but that was not the case.

Any time. As long as you only rotate with loosened clamps, you’re good. About ever third drag link adjustment I forget to hold it straight before tightening. A nice clunk when steering is sometimes an indicator that it’s not parallel. I’ve been using steersmarts stuff since the beginning of my gladiator adventure. They make great stuff, and have excellent support.
