Has anyone been able to order a sting ray with body colored top? My dealer says it is unavailable until August. WTF?!

Just tried to order as well and was told body color was not available yet. From what it looks like 30 days is the standard on body color tops after the release date on certain colors so my guess it’s mid July. I’m guessing this is the case since the Jeep body and top are painted in separate areas so it’s easier to start production with black tops and then phase in color match as they get caught up.

For the steel bumper group on the JT it only comes with the front bumper. If you don't get the group you still get the rear steel bumper with rock rails.

No clue, I have been waiting myself. I have been recommending customers to look at aftermarket front bumpers. I personally like the Go Rhino ones.

my dealer also says bedliner is required but had no issue with the aux switches.

From my understanding orders on the weekend dont actually go into the system until monday. At least thats when I was told my order would be placed . Sting gray rubi for me too. Im a little nervous about the color. sometimes I see it and it looks great and other times looks bland. I was also interested in gator but no real confirmation on its color and i dont want to risk not liking it and missing out on a jeep for a small bit that is left this summer by time mine arrives.

Front Mopar steel bumper is $850 at my local dealership. They have a lot of wiggle room when it comes to parts. Find a different dealer to buy it from.

I didn't order or even look at Launch Edition stuff. Did they have a color restriction, or will some Sting-Gray launch editions going to start showing up in the next couple of months?

No Sting-Gray Launch Editions. Those were only available in Red, White, Black, Silver and Granite (and they can't seem to figure out how to even paint the Granite ones).

Lame (for both reasons) though I guess it makes it easy for me to not plan on watching for Sting-Gray LE trucks popping back up on the market later in the year.
