The few non-LE Granites that were suppose to start last week are still D status. Looks like the SG folks may jump to the front of the line.
Who knows what’s going on anymore. Just when you think you have it figured out based on the Job 1 dates it gets confusing again. I give up trying to understand. :headbang:

I just want an estimated build date since I’m D1. Based on other posts it seems to take about a week from D1 to start the build. So maybe next week for us. But then you got the holiday coming up.

As soon as somebody hears that orders are open, please post here.

Any specific sting grey items you are going to add aftermatket?
I ordered mine on Monday. However, I must warn you that the Jeep order website did not allow me to order the winch-capable front bumper (it was not even listed for my soon to be Rubicon) or the headliners (it was grayed out. The order website is wonkier than the Jeep website where the default year for building a JL is 2018, not the current 2019 model.

Regarding the headliners, I purchased them from Hothead Headliners. From posts on the Wrangler forum, t learned they are high quality and a much lower price point than the $550 Jeep charges for them.

I have very similar options, and I'm also in Houston.
Hopefully they will push mine through so it can be on the same train :fingerscrossed:
Which dealer did you order from?

I'm honestly at a loss for words with how long it takes to build one of these trucks. With people saying there truck is being built but waiting on certain parts ect. Where I work at we litteraly pour out hundreds of vehicles within 24hrs and there is nowhere we just. "put vehicles aside until we get parts" there all ran on the line and only taken off line for quality concerns.. but rarely does that happen unless it's just a bad vehicle that needs to be scrapped. Usually if there's a defect or light quality issue it comes off at the end when the vehicle is finished and put aside for (new windshield. Paint defect work) ect. I swear I want to just call bs and tell y'all really there just so backed up with production that they are just making up junk to postpone your build until there's room to throw it on the line litteraly at out plant once you have that vin it should be completely done within 36 hrs max that vin was created and sitting in a lot to be shipped

Is it possible they're just not fully up and running on production yet? I'm sure they'll be making hundreds per day by next year, but for now these could be running down the line with JLs.

I'm not sure how long the process is for building one of these trucks but I can guarantee you it doesn't take 4+ months to make it unless the production line is so backed up with back orders and everyone is just in line as well with orders that are being shipped to dealers. Where I work at I can litteraly see the vehicles come out of weld get a vin painted built and rolling off to the lot to be put on a truck in one day.. not months. I personally think the line is backed up with too many orders and once the long line is finished it will be a smoother faster build process

On other brands the vehicle will not start in the production line until all parts for that VIN are available. It's not like they have a row of trucks waiting on steel bumpers to be installed.

I like to think there’s a pile of parts sitting in a corner with my name on it, just waiting for it’s time to go down the line.
