Sting grey owners (future) check in

I’ll have to check again with Jeep Chat for status. Talked with the dealer and he says it still shows it will ship tomorrow, but he doesn’t think it’s possible. I just want my truck!

I check with Jeep Chat on Mondays and the dealer on Thursdays. Twice a week had been fine to follow the process.
I have a trip planed for 10/19 so I will probably not see it until I get back early in November.

Well folks.. Picked up the new Sting Gray Rubicon yesterday at Tricity from Tavis & team. The deal was exactly how Travis laid it out. Super simple, great team. Ran into alwhite while I was there.


Ordered 8/27. Took delivery 9/27.

Today is the day, by 5pm I should be driving home from tri city

G status! Jeep Chat says it should be shipping in the next couple days. Not sure if that means actually shipping or being sent to the staging lots for a truck/train, but it’s getting close! @Bremen

I’m picking up my SG Sport S this afternoon. This will be my first Jeep. My last 4 trucks have been F150s but I wanted something different and the wife didn’t like the Ranger so by chance we stopped and looked at the Gladiator. Pretty excited and a tad nervous. Wheels and tire upgrade will be coming shortly down the road to make I look better. I didn’t order mine but the dealer found me exactly what I wanted about 3 hours away. They are on the way to get it now. Will post pics later.

Mine was ordered 8/28 and here on 9/28 it is in G status. Maybe another two or three weeks for delivery?

Can't say how easy it was too buy from tri City. Nice little upgrade from the 07 Element.

Picked up my SG Sport S yesterday. Went straight to the tire shop and had them put on BFG lt 285 ko2s onto launch edition rims I had picked up on eBay. What a difference. More mods to come...
