I recently bought a 2021 Willys Gladiator with the stock rock rail. I love the look and don't want to change the rock rails, but have been looking for a sturdy bolt on step. Is there such an animal or is my only option buying new rails with a step? I already have the notched Rokblokz mud flaps, and also don't want to have to buy a new set to accommodate another set of rails.

Havent seen one! New rails with step is probably your only option.

Seems as though I recall a small bolt-on, spring loaded step . . . and comes off relatively easily before off-roading if one wanted.

been a while so not completely sure . . .

I would go with the factory Mopar Rock Slider with Step Assist.
