I have a Rubicon with plastic bumper. Looking at an EAG Bumper. I contacted them and they said I had to run their front skid plate. I used search and can't find specifics, but I thought many were able to run stock skid pad with EAG type bumpers.

Thanks for any experience with this.

My bumper is EAG and the stock skid plate fit without a problem. I took it off during the install because I thought it wouldn't fit ,but I was able to bolt it right back on. Of course not all bumpers are the same. Which one you going with?

I like that one and the price is good too. If I would have seen that one when I bought mine I probably would have gone with it.

As far as weather or not the skid plate will work, who knows. Are you handy enough to do some cutting if need be?

I don't have welding equipment, but I have a lot of cutting equipment. I just don't want it to look bad. I can always buy theirs (@ $60).

I did the "Make an Offer" on ebay. I will probably be getting it either way.

I was at my sister in laws for the 4th of july and noticed that her son has that bumper on his JK. not a rubicon and no skid plate . His jeep only sees the beach.

Well, I did several "Make Offer" bids on ebay. They were all rejected as "being too low", the last one was $4 less than "Buy It Now". So, I did the buy it now. Be here next week. I'll then see about the skid plate.

I can confirm that the stock rubicon skid pad does work with the eag bumper.YMMV.
