My Jeep is at the dealership, so I can’t go look, but I’m pretty sure my Overland has the same tire size and tire as my stock tires. Unless, I forgot and it’s a 17” wheel of the same equivalent tire size. Obviously, it’s steel wheel. The ,spare is the same size as the other stock wheels(unless you have aan Overland or High Altitude). It's 17X7.5
All spares are on a steel 17" wheel. My Jeep is at the dealership, so I can’t go look, but I’m pretty sure my Overland has the same tire size and tire as my stock tires. Unless, I forgot and it’s a 17” wheel of the same equivalent tire size. Obviously, it’s steel wheel.
I just posted a thread about needing to find a full sized spare.
My tires are 33.7” and my stock tires were 32.1” and that’s what my spare is. Would you be ok with that big of a differential on a spare? I’m not. I think it got lost somewhere that I still have my stock sized spare. That’s a pretty big size difference. All spares are on a steel 17" wheel.
Yeah, what the bear said.
IF I was going 35 I'd definitely want a matching size spare and a matching spare if I was going to the hassle and $$ of buying another tire for spare.
But that's me, my opinions on it.
No. Never said I was............ not on a daily driver or truck I take across the country - through states where you can drive for miles and not see an open shop.Would you be ok with that big of a differential on a spare?
If I had a difference in size that was that big - putting on 35s (which are probably 34.7) and had a spare that was 33 (which is actually 32.8 if it's stock). That's almost a 2" difference.IF I was going 35 I'd definitely want a matching size spare and a matching spare if I was going to the hassle and $$ of buying another tire for spare.
I do a lot of trips between NC and GA and TN. The NC-TN goes through the mtns and there are a lot of areas where I would not want to deal with that.No. Never said I was............ not on a daily driver or truck I take across the country - through states where you can drive for miles and not see an open shop.

I'd be ok for a spare if it was say 1" or so, but I prefer all matching for other reasons - like a total blow-out where a tire can't be fixed and you have worn your other tires 1/2 way or you can no longer buy a matching tire.
Even in the mountain areas I was in in PA years ago - no way I'd want to mess with uneven tires. It would be xxxx to have a flat to begin with, but man, you want control and good brakes in those places.I do a lot of trips between NC and GA and TN.
