I would not have left Poughkeepsie Gulch off your list of Colorado Trails, since it’s right by those other trails.

Another Colorado Trail that I am partial to is HalfMoon Gulch out of Leadville, so it is even higher and probably cooler. The Champion Mine is really cool. There is a lot of creek and stream driving, but unless it’s deep, it isn’t particularly challenging, but it’s very fun.

There are a lot of trails out of Red River New Mexico that aren’t particularly hard, but still fun, and pleasant, weather wise. There is Goose Creek, Pioneer Creek, Greenie Peak, and 4th of July canyon, which is difficult if rainy.

Looks like, from viewing ONX, that there are some decent trails in the eastern part of the state….

Yep, the SE and the Arkansas Oklahoma state line. That's where I go most often.

I’ve been thinking about heading up there to explore. It’s only a 2.5 hour drive for me. Is it worth it?

Yes, the area around Mena is fantastic. Mill Creek, Wolf Pen Gap, and Buckhorn are popular but have some tight areas. I haven't hit a bad trail using onX or Trails Off-road yet. I'd look through those to pick what you like. Look for a diner rather than a chain restaurant if you stop to eat. There are some nice places scattered all around. Any part of Western Arkansas is great.

Here's a guide to the parks and mountains. Have fun!

I guess you could just list the Alpine Loop. The one thing about the trails around Ouray, Telluride, Silverton... is that no matter which way you look, it is beautiful.
