So I finally measured the tires and I’m concern. I know it’s a 35 in tire and I know most of them are not 35 but I just measured my tire and it’s around 33-33.5 WTH ?!!!?!?!?? Is that normal. I have the Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT

I think the quoted diameter is when not under load (no vehicle on top of it). What psi are you at? Of course, that matters too. My "35s" run 34.4 with no vehicle on top off them, and about 33.5 supporting the jeep. My "33s" were actually 31.5 with the jeep on top of them, 32.8 without. Yours should be about 34.5 too, with no truck on them, but you're probably at 33.5 or so with the weight of the jeep. The weight of the truck causes the tread to "squish" in some. It will also cause the sidewall to deflect too, if you run lower psi.

Try setting the tire size as 34.5, and you should be spot on, though. Mine is at 34.44.

@Rubsal70, I just went out and measured across the tire, parallel to the ground. I'm at 34.5 measured that way, even with the truck on top. I also measured the spare underneath, which came out to be the same, since the tread isn't compressed. Try that. It should come out to quoted spec diameter (34.5 for your tires). We'll do anything we can for that extra inch... Anyway, 34.44 is what I'm set too, and it's 100% perfectly aligned with the GPS speed at all times.

I can’t speak for the mickeys but my bfg’s run about 1.5” short of the 35” as I mentioned when suggested to measure.
Like nacho mentioned, it’s a lot of marketing on tire sizes to make sales.
on another front, my 40” Patagonia’s measure out to 39.75”. Probably the closest I have seen to marked height.
