What was elongated?
There was speculation the the Gladiator would have to be elongated to provide a crumple zone to pass crash tests, in order to put the 6.4L in.

Ohio5pt7
was wondering why that was not necessary for the Wrangler 392.

Hi
So I just had a 6.4 Hemi conversion on my Gladiator along with 2.5 lift upgraded shocks sway bars , 37’s and more.
What muffler did you use??
I have an AFE 24” performance muffler and it’s just to loud
The drone at approx 1800 rpm is way to loud in cab

I have no drone what so ever. My exhaust is whatever AME4x4 provides in the kit

I had my JT Rubicon in an indoor car show here in Cincinnati (Cavalcade of Customs). A local reputable 4x4 shop had a few JLS and JTs on display with these exact conversions. Right at 37-38k. My JT is almost 2 years old and I dont even have 7k on the clock (all options except painted fenders). They were offering all flavors. I couldn't imagine a Helliphant in a JT ($100k)

I will pull the trigger on this upgrade hopefully this year. My 3.6 is almost brand new and fetches a $1,500 core value. I dont feel like selling the engine myself, etc, but someone will end up with a good 3.6 someday.

I also was told these things have a DEALER warranty on the engine (I think 3 years). Has anyone had to have their 6.4 serviced at a Jeep dealer?

I can't stop watching the videos, etc.

I just hit 2 years on my 6.4L and I continue to love it! No issues at all and I get about 17 mpg on the highway and 14.5 around town. This picture is of the mpg screen is after about a month of putting around town.
