Has anyone, specifically Overland owners, swapped out your 18" wheels for the more common, and usually cheaper, 17" wheels?

Your post is confusing swapping 18s for 17s or 17s for 18s? But, if you ever intend to build up rig with allot of weight, stay with the 18s...as you may find that you need to add bigger brakes and the 18s may allow the additional space you will need.

I swapped the order when it made more sense to do so. I have an Overland. It comes with 18" wheels. However, when looking for 35 inch tires, the 17" wheels are WAY more common than 18s, and they cost less.

Rubicon take-offs???

I swap back and forth and have not only kept my Overland wheels because I love the look, but bought an extra Overland wheel to use as a spare someday. I put these on for winter in Iowa because the original tires weren't snow rated.
