Swapping for a black grille?

Hey guys, bare with me. First time Jeep owner! I recently got an Overland and the only thing I wanted to change aesthetically so far is the grille. I love the silver inlay around the grille teeth and the lights. Is there a black grille with that silver inlay? Or would I just be getting a solid black piece?
And if anyone can point me in the right direction to a good website to purchase from, I would appreciate it! There's a ton of hits on google and kind of don't know where to turn lol. Thanks!

The silver inserts are removable. Your could always take them out and paint or plastidip your current grille. I'm not sure if the inserts can be used in the Mopar black satin grille. Don't see why not but I'd check first.

I have an Overland as well and have the silver trim in the grille too. Basically you are limited to the Overland trim level grilles if you want something like you describe.

I do see this part on the Mopar website which gets you close, but it looks like it has the gray trim like the Rubicon has. Other listings might be ones that have to be painted on their own.

Your next best bet might be to look at car-part.com to see if there‘s a junkyard JT with the black overland grille but it’ll probably be very slim pickings.

The satin black Mopar grille comes with only the actual grille itself. Your silver trim rings around the headlights, and inlays around the 7 slots, as well as the mesh and outer trim pieces (two side pieces and bottom) will all transfer to the new grille. I have a Sport S and had to order every piece individually (satin grille, trim pieces, trim rings for headlights, trim rings around the 7 slots, and mesh).

Edit: The edge of your grille will be body color where the three edge pieces clip into the grille.

That's odd. My Mopar satin grille came with the mesh insert. Came just like this. This was while I was waiting for the trim pieces to get painted.

Who did you order your grille through? That might be the difference if you got it from another vendor.

Edit: Your Willy’s came standard with the gloss black grille. What made you want to switch to the Mopar satin black? If Willy’s was available when I bought last year I would’ve gotten that as I prefer the gloss black grille.

Ordered mine from BAM Wholesale. But there is only one part number for the satin grille. So I don't really see what would be different.

And I don't like gloss black anything. Prefer matte and satin black. And I wanted the body colored surround. Looks much better IMO.

Everything on your body color grille will be transferable to the Mopar satin grille.
