I’m kinda new to this stuff and wasn’t exactly sure how or where to post my update and out come.

A couple days ago I started a post “Tazer Mini Saga”. My Tazer died after about 6 months and I had some pretty serious issues. I was sent a new Tazer but was given zero instruction or direction and I was completely lost. I was beyond pissed and frustrated. After a couple days ZAuto finally started replying to my texts. And answered most of my questions that fixed all my issues.

The most serious problem caused by the unexplained death of the Tazer, was loss of 4WD. When the Tazer died it somehow told my Jeep that I didn’t have a front axle FAD system. After changing the settings, under “off road” and making sure “front axle” is YES, NOT No, doing a full reboot and a few sleep cycles all is good.

While the Tazer is quirky… I’m still a fan and will continue to use it. I just hope ZAuto will work harder to improve their customer service.

Now that I’m kind of an expert on the good and bad. Feel free to ask. I am glad to help.

Did you add this update to that thread? Might help others in the future. Or tag this thread in your other thread.

Glad you got your Tazer sorted out! Losing 4WD is terrifying, but it's great that a full reboot and updating the FAD setting (under "Off Road" > "Front Axle" = YES) did the trick.
The fix: Go into the 'Off Road' settings, make sure 'Front Axle' is set to YES (not No), do a full reboot, and run a few sleep cycles.
