so one license and you can connect to all of them or one for each vehicle? my Ram doesn't seem to need it but i did up the tire size a little, but mostly needing it for the JT. the TJ doesn't care.
No. One for each vehicle. You have to get the license for each vehicle. But, when I bought the licenses, they had a bundle special or something at the time (I think, hard to remember back then). I got the licenses for The JT, JKU, Ram, Charger, and caravan, including the cables and OBDII connector all for less than the price of a Tazer.

I wish I would have had it when I had my Ram. Did so many modifications that everything was off. Changed tire sizes 3x. So, I understand. It's paid for itself.

Has anyone heard of a way to lock a single rear wheel break in order to make a narrower turn when on dirt?

Hope that make since? With the longer wheel base it would be nice to say lock the passenger rear wheel in order to make a sharper right turn on a narrower trail instead of having to make multi point turns.

Currently would any of these choices support the 2023-year models (Mojave's)? I have looked around but have found no definite answer.

Please keep me honest with this, from what I am gathering both JSCAN and or AlfaOBD do not require reverting back to stock features/options when going to the dealership (service dept.).

Is this a correct comment?

I can't speak for AlfaOBD yet - last I tried (back in March 2023) they had not updated for the 2022 model year yet! Some things worked fine, but some did not.
JSCAN has kept up pretty well. anything I have wanted to do with my 2022, I have been able to look at or do.

Software like JSCAN or AlfaOBD make changes to the choices in the systems. Tire size is a choice, LED or Halogen lights is a choice, gear ratio is a choice. So once you use that software to make the change, it's saved in that module and you can take your phone away, disconnect the bypass cable and the choices - the changes, are still in that module.

Tazer does things live - it's why it can do things software can't do because it's part of the truck once you install it. And any of those live functions thus disappear when you remove tazer.

If you make a change using JSCAN or AlfaOBD, the dealer never knows you were ever in there. They have no idea. If you change tire size, it's saved in the BCM and there's no trace of any change. The only negative is that if a module such as PCM or BCM or other needs to be flashed by the dealer for some update or a fix, then changes you made could be lost. So you reconnect your bypass cable, launch the app (JSCAN or AlfaOBD) and put the change back in. No big deal at all.
I log any change I make so if something gets lost due to a dealer flash to update any of my systems for a recall or fix, I can put it all back.

Software leaves no traces of a change. No one but you knows.
But those changes can be written over by a dealer flash. Rare, but could happen. and only happens if you need a module flashed for some reason. Again, it's not at all common so don't fret that part. Simply write down any changes you make, just in case.

If using JScan, what is the difference in the USB adapters ?
They range in price but do you get more with the more expensive ones or are they all the same ?

You may mean the Bluetooth adapter.
The more expensive one had higher speed capability (important for some, but not all or even most)
I bought it because I tend to dig deeper into things and - I have a wife who gets upset if I buy on the cheap and then later find I should have gotten better. She's actually said "if you come back with a cheap one you may as well just turn around and go back and get the better one". (she's pretty much always right)
So I have the MX+

This one should work for most people - ( I paid $30 back in 2020)
Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XGB4873

These things have shot up in price - I only paid $100 when I bought it.
OBDLink MX+ OBD2
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JFRFJG6

As long as the JSCAN web site says an adapter works, you should be fine.

JScan, used it on my JL and now my JT. Everything including the license is under $100 total for initial setup. Also you don’t need to worry about undoing anything when you take it to the dealer.

Unless you buy the MX+ adapter. That alone is over 130.
The iCar adapter is something like 39.
As long as the adapter is on the approved adapters list on the JSCAN support pages, it will be ok.
I think the extension cables (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!) itself is 25.

"USB" lol ? Yes, I meant Bluetooth. Thanks for the explanation. It Is helpful.
I'll probably go mid-range in price with the hopes the quality is better than the low end ones ?

My Gladiator (used) came with a Tazer. I found going through those menus with the controls of the car to be a pia. I got rid of the Tazer and bought JScan and also AlphaOBD. I find JScan is really easy to use. I do have a hard time seeing the options on my phone, that is why I bought AlphaOBD for my laptop.
That is my only complaint about the Tazer having to go through all that stuff using the steering wheel controls is a pain in the ass and then when removing it for the dealership even following all the instructions I don't know if it truly unpaired cleanly from my vehicle.
