What are the differences and is one better then the other?

JScan looks more of diagnostics tool compared to Tazer. Tazer has more bells & whistles and specific things are fairly easy to find. Another cheap option is AlphaOBD.

JScan looks more of diagnostics tool compared to Tazer. Tazer has more bells & whistles and specific things are fairly easy to find. Another cheap option is AlphaOBD.

JScan is proven to work, and has most of the features of the Tazer, at less cost. The biggest benefit is that you can program multiple vehicles, for cost of an additional $20 license. Auto stop/start disable is pending software completion.

Cost is the biggest benefit if JScan. All in it cost me $85. $19 for JScan license, $35 for security cable, $30 for OBDII adapter. It doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles but allows you to update for vehicle mods. I bought it to adjust for tire size. For $20 I can program another vehicle too!
