Jeep Cares takes some abuse here so instead, I wanted to say thank you to Jeep cares - Kate. Kate responded to my request for help quickly and had a case manager assigned the next day.
my JT has been repaired and running great.
Dealer flashed for the misfire TSB. That wasn’t the problem when I dropped it off, but they tried to get me out the door quickly and maybe that was their go to fix for “sounds like a diesel and has a loud ticking” complaint??
They also repaired the load ticking which was a bad exhaust manifold gasket and my main complaint. I also had to suggest that the gasket was the problem after their first repair attempt failed.
Total time at the dealership: 17 days to diagnose and replace the gasket.
Dropped off 11/14.
Picked up 12/2.
