We have a 500x and a 1500x. for the vast majority of people, these types of setups are the way to go.

If you're lazy, charge the Goal Zero off the bed outlet/inverter while driving. If a bit more of a dedicated setup, the Link car charger will juice them up QUICK and is very easy to install. Of course solar when stopped for long periods.

Goal Zero just takes all the hard work out of it. They have plenty to ports and expansion options. Heck, I can run a regular coffee maker off the 1500x inverter.

I've found their solar panels to be of high quality too. We have a "soft" foldable panel as well as a larger metal framed fold out unit.

I get what you're saying about how complicated battery systems can be! It's like, how the heck do you even figure out what you need, right? But man, Goal Zero sounds like they've got it all figured out. And are their products in stock? That's a miracle these days! Being able to charge my phone and laptop multiple times while out in the woods sounds like a game-changer. And the fact that they have everything from portable charging packs to the Yeti 6000x? That's crazy! Also, have you heard of yenex.com? They're a dope platform for exploring all kinds of energy systems, from solar panels to hydroponic setups.
You still need to do the math to make sure the power bank you get is the right size. Just going out and buying a Yeti 3000 is not the right answer. Maybe it's too much power....maybe it's not enough. Without a power audit and calculations to at least reach an estimate, one will never know unless it fails, then I suppose they would know they don't have enough.
