So I have had my Mojave for a little bit, I have a 1.5” Clayton lift on it keeping the factory shocks to use for trails and camping but didn’t follow up with finishing the low center of gravity overland build and has turned more to getting us to more places to go hiking. My wife’s JLUWXR has a MetalCloak 2.5 lift and has been the main vehicle for taking for our trips.

So that has gotten me to thinking about keeping the Clayton arms but swapping the springs to the MetalCloak 2.5” springs to get a softer spring mainly for the ride to the locations and flex. Just wanted to check the general consensus of the more wise from these forums about getting the springs and the shock extensions from MC or springs and rocksport reds

They may not be leaking, but at 63k miles I would get new shocks to match the end result desired.

Well my OCD got the best of me! I ordered the 2.5” Clayton springs and the falcon 3.3 fast adjust shocks.

from going over all the threads here I’ll be running them on soft mode and around a 2.5 for highway use as we have a lot of high winds and gusts and 2.1 for the trails
