I called in and canceled my Sirius account the first week of ownership. They did made me jumped through hoops but got it done. Mine is also a 2021, no ads yet.

Add: anyone know how to prevent Jeep from connecting to the uconnect? Sim card?
If it’s anything like the GMC’s and Onstar….You have to find the control box and pull all the wires out of it - physically disconnecting it. That is… if there is such a thing (control box) Versus it being integrated into all the other hardware.

I’d hate to see what happens after you actually do that….. the Jeep will probably go into a seizure and not let you do anything. 🤷‍♀️

Go to your Dashboard, go to account settings, from thier a seperate tab says manage preferences. (A real pain in the ass)
Scroll to the bottom find SiriusXM and Sirius guardian notifications I think.
You can turn off all advertisements and more.

Also noticed my DIY maintenance history is still available pretty interesting. Thought those electrons were gone.
Are you on a desktop computer? I’m on my phone & I don’t see Account settings.. I see ‘Account’ and ’Application Settings’ and I don’t see manage preferences.

Is it as simple as this?

Some get the pop-ups and some don't. Are the owners that created an account at connect.jeep and allowing messages the only ones getting the pop-ups?
I didn't see any reason to create an account and haven't noticed a pop-up on my 5" screen yet.

Quite a few more hoops to jump through. I had to create a sub account to turn everything off.

Just started getting an advertisement every time I come to a stop that wants to sell me a pre-paid oil change plan. How can I make this atrocity go away?

Oil life is over 70% so it’s not that I actually need a change. This is a 21 Mojave I’ve had since new. @JeepCares what’s the story here?
Hi Sam,

I don't recommend being abusive to the person answering the call, they didn't make this decision. I would ask how to make the messages stop and get it escalated to a manager at the call center. This affects Jeep's productivity metrics and there are KPIs they watch; if everyone calls to complain it will tell Jeep to knock this shit off.

But please, don't take it out on the low-level person answering the phone, they don't deserve that treatment.
