The JL production started in Oct but wasn't shown till NOV at the LA Autoshow.

Two decades

Well I wasn't counting concept teaser vehicles. Over decade since the LJ (aka TJU...the last factory stretched chassis production Wrangler).

Truth be told it's taken 3 decades to bring back Gladiator.

But now you have me thinking back about other Jeep trucks. Rumor is the official name is a heritage throw-back. And I'm concerned it might be the Gladiator (from the '70s). Really hope they don't decide to call it the "Gladiator" and put some stupid masked Spartacus emblems on it. I'll just de-badge it.

If not "Gladiator" then just call it a "Wrangler Pickup" in the brochures.

Gladiator wouldn't make much sense from a lineage standpoint so hopefully they call it a Gladiator or just Wrangler Pickup. Gladiator is the logical choice albeit the original being a stretched CJ7 instead of a four door crew cab pickup like were getting, but it makes sense as a vehicle lineage evolution.

they might just call it the jeep truck hence JT and dont forget thats what the willys pick up was originally called
