I tow mine. No battery disconnect, but I do have the Genesis dual battery system. Maximus 3 tow loops with a Blue Ox tow bar.

What kind of rig are you towing behind?
It's a class A diesel pusher motorhome with air brakes. 600 HP Cummins 15 liter. Don't even feel the Jeep behind.:jk:

Yep, we had a 40' 400 HP and a 42' 400 HP before this one and never felt any Jeeps when towing. Our first coach was a 33' gasser with a Workhorse 8.1 liter Vortec V8. I knew when our Grand Cherokee was behind me in that one but the diesel have enough torque and don't need to scream as high as the gassers to get it.

I used to pull my TJ Rubicon without knowing it was there, but with the JTR's extra weight and length, we don't know it's back there either, but we are 54k lbs, so I doubt we will feel anything anyways.
Gotta love being the fat boy sometimes...

So what is the hook up?
connect up hitch, safety cables, Park? Neut? wheel unlocked? (not sure how to do that yet with pushbutton), transfer case Neut? how you hooking up tow lights or you have a jumper plug?

The Gladiator, as well as out 2012 JKUR, doesn't require a key to unlock the steering so you don't have to have the key on or anything to do with the pushbutton start. You can leave it in park. You just connect your tow bar, slip the transfer case into neutral, hook up the safety cables and plug in your electrical umbilical cord. Your auxiliary braking system will vary, depending on what system you are using. In my case I just connect the air hose from the coach and the breakaway cable. If you have a different braking system then you just follow their instructions.

Yes, pretty much, except no steering wheel lock.
I made up a 4 pole double throw switch that I flip up when towing and down when not towing .
Basically the switch connects inline with the brake light wiring and doesn't need diodes. the down side is if I forget to flip the switch, I won't have brake lights. There's a company selling this product for a lot of money, and all you need is the switch and some wiring.

Pretty much this:
But I bought a switch and wiring on my own, mounted the switch under the steering wheel. Total cost for me about $15-$20.

We flat tow a 2020 Gladiator (Overland) behind a 2021 Dutch Star. We disconnect the negative battery cable and each time we flat tow the "auto start/stop" feature is disabled. Each time we took the Gladiator to our local Jeep Dealer to reset the fault. They don't know why the book says to disconnect and we are working through a process with them to try and ID why the "auto/start feature" is being disabled. It would be nice if Jeep could figure it out.
