Took delivery of a white LE in Denver. I had ordered a white Rubicon JT with black fenders and top, but while waiting,...and waiting some more,... we had a heat wave. A couple days it got to 112 heat index (in Maryland) so I told my guy at the dealer that I was probably gonna walk on this one and reorder with the color matched white top. [I ordered it while in Denver but live in Maryland]. He asked me how soon could I get out there. Said he had a white LE. I found a cheap flight and flew out 2 days later. I got it at 3 pm on Thursday last week then drove up to Blackhawk and tooled around with a friend in the mountains. Had to go to Smokin Yards BBQ. Had to. Got back to motel that night with 120 miles on odometer. The next day I began my 2300 mile drive back. Spent the 1st night at Walsenberg Best Western. I recommend this place. Went down to Raton Pass, through northern NM, TX panhandle, Rt 287 towards Fort Worth, crossed Red River at Vernon towards Frederick, OK, then right at Rt 70 to Ardmore, OK, arriving at 2 am. After a night at my brother's, then on to Denison, TX for a day fishing on Lake Texoma. Spent the night there at another brother's then back north across the Red River and on to Mena, AR via Rt 75, 43, 271, 63 and 8. Thoroughly enjoyed the drive across southern Oklahoma in west, then across middle of eastern Oklahoma. Hardly any traffic. Probably passed a vehicle every 15 minutes. Used the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) a lot and cranked the tunes. The ACC works great for long drives. No complaints with the stereo either. My sister lives on a mountain in the Ouachita National Forest. We had to make a cell phone call so had to drive up Eagle Mountain until we got reception. I hadn't planned on any rock crawling this trip but thats what it turned into going up Eagle Mountain. I never put it in 4wd but it did fine. The biggest problem was finding a place to turn around for the descent. Steep drop offs the gravel edges. [Listen to the song "Gravel Roads" by Black Oak Arkansas. YouTube it.] The next day it was down to Arkadelphia for some mudding along the banks of the Ouachita River with a high school friend from way way back. That was a short visit because I had to make time. The rest of the journey was just laying the miles down. Takin it easy. Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive ya crazy. After a night in Nashville I made it back home at 3 am the following day. Constant driving except for brief forays, alongside the north shore of Douglas Lake near Sevierville, then down Main Street in Bristol, where one side of the street is Tennessee and the other side is Virginia. Driving I-81 north wasn't too busy at night. I made good time. That was a lot of hours of seat time with only pit stops. My initial impression of the seats was that the thigh cushions were too short, but the comfort factor held up. Overall, it was a very comfortable ride. Not too much fatigue. No circulation issues or numb legs. I am happy with my new Jeep Gladiator. I am keeping my old 1995 T100 for yard work and hauling chores to spare the Jeep for a greater destiny. Spacecat

Just got this funny text message from my younger daughter in Charleston. Hey @Gladiator Joe is this your truck? My daughter might want to steal it from you. Hide your keys.

Finally I can post on here after 45 days of waiting. Took the freedom panels off 5 minutes after getting home. Can’t stop smiling!

Hendrick Jeep in North Charleston was great to work with. Gave me a good deal. Ask for Jack.

Ha, there might be two of us. Looks like that one has painted fenders. I’ll be sure to lock my doors :)

Just picked it up. A few days over 5 weeks from order date. In love already and didn’t even get 3 blocks from dealership. Having a beer and a little food to celebrate.

Lynn-F did you regear your gladiator or what I have a gladiator rubicon running 35’s and I would hate to see how it would pull anything any bigger on tires and the gas mileage wouldn’t be great but I didn’t buy it for the gas mileage but I love the gladiator and it gets a lot of looks

Picked up a Billet Silver Gladiator Sport S 1 week ago and have been absolutely loving it so far. It’s my first Jeep vehicle and I am hooked. Traded a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited. I have already ordered 37’s, New Wheels, and a small lift for it. Should be installed on Thursday.

Hey @Gladiator Joe my younger daughter just spotted another black Gladiator in Charleston. Could have been the same one as yesterday. Could be a totally different one or maybe yours? See the wheels. Look familiar? Yours?

No, but those are nice. I still have the standard rubicon wheels. I was planning to upgrade right away but I’ve been liking them.
