Topper fan install

Installed a fan in my Alu-Cab topper. Had to cut one of the inside cross braces for this fan to fit, but temperature control is more important than weight carrying capacity. Load bars are all that I need.

Looks good.
Personally, I think I’d’ve found a smaller fan rather than compromise the topper’s structural integrity, but that’s just me.

Only problem is that small fans are exponentially louder per volume. You'll get better flow with a larger fan and it will be silent.

I had a few 6 inch "computer" fans that I used in my Scamp T.T. the fans lasted for a few years, the ones mounted in window by sink and stove helped a lot but died from harsh use. I got about 2 plus years out of them. No regular 12 v fans do and have lasted I've got 3-4 of them I just replaced one this year after 9-10 years of use. But they don't fit the windows really or the vent in my topper. ???
