I bought 2020 Rubicon wheels and tires for my 2021 Gladiator HA. Drove around for about 20 miles and it read 35 psi all around. Now I have a message TMPS pressure not available, all tires have XX now for pressure. Drove around and start / stop to see if it would reset and no luck. Is the issue because I am using 2020 equipment in a 2021? I know there was a sensor change in 2021 before March I believe. My real question is , do I now have to change all the sensors in these wheels or is there another way to get them reset to read? Thanks

I have a 2021 20th Anniversary that I installed wheels/tires from a 2021 Rubicon on. I went to a tire shop where they were able to set the new wheel tire sensors to my vehicle. I have read that sometime during the 2021 model year that the tire sensor part number changed. I was fortunate in that mine worked! Good luck with yours.

There was a change in the 21 model year. 2020 sensors may not work in yours, depending on the build date. If yours is after that change, there's nothing that can be done short of buying and installing the later sensors in those wheels.

You lucked out - 21 model to 21 model, likely in the same build range using the same sensors.

There was a change in the 21 model year. 2020 sensors may not work in yours, depending on the build date. If yours is after that change, there's nothing that can be done short of buying and installing the later sensors in those wheels.

The change was around 6/21. You will need to get newer sensors, if you want the TPMS to work.

I would suggest buying them from your local tire shop. Be sure to get the old ones back, you can probably sell them and recoup some of the cost.

I mistakenly used the MDH date (110120) thinking the 20 was the year. Now I see the Date Of MFR is 11-21 so I probably have the wrong sensors installed. Certainly my mistake but I have 2 questions: If my Gladiator is a 2021, how can the Date Of MFR be in November 2021? Wouldn't they have been building 2022s by then?

My 2020 was built in November 2019
My 2022 decal is below - look at the 6-2 meaning June 2022 and I'm assuming that's what you refer to as built date of 11-21
So if yours says 11-21 it was built in 11-21 (November 2021) not sure when the 2022 model year started production - sometimes they delay things, sometimes they start sooner.

The date of manufacture is the month and year production was finished for the vehicle. MDH is the month, day, and hour production was started. They were probably finishing up a backlog of orders, so 11/01 is not all that late for a '21 model.
