My tire shop told me it doesn’t matter that much as long as they are compatible. They said they have similar battery life.

I bought a set of genuine MOPAR TPMS from Benny here on the forum, discount prices - installed, and they were sync'd up in seconds, zero issues.
I figured MOPAR part number exactly like the truck came with meant no risk.
By the time my truck was rolling they registered. No errors, no blank spots, just numbers.

Do these work with the installed tire fill app?

Never used the app, likely won't ever need to - but why won't they? They are original MOPAR parts like the JT comes with.........

I always use a very accurate dial-type gauge to fill my tires, or as spring hits, let air out as needed. I prefer to rely on that gauge I know is accurate than try to listen to something in the truck and hope it's keeping up real-time and is accurate or that I heard it over other sounds with my hearing as it is.
If the tires are too high - like now (they were 37 but with the warmer temps are now sitting at 42-43) I let air out using the gauge and every so often check with the gauge, back the gauge out to let a bit more out, then press it in to check, then back it out to let more out, in to check, it works and is really fast.
If it reads too high, pull the gauge back just a bit to let air out, push it back to read, still to high, back it out a bit, and so on.
What could be easier?
Anyway, since those are MOPAR parts, correct for the truck, can't go wrong.
