tpms sensor

hey guys
so i purchased a wheel and tire set from someone used
he had the tpms sensor set to his wrangler
now the wheels are on my jeep

anybody know how to pair them with my car
is this possible ?
do i have to go to a tire shop?

I bought mojave takeoffs and it picked them up automatically once installed on the Jeep

They should pair without any changes as long as they are from a jt or jl

If the Wrangler the wheels were taken from was built after 6/5/21, the sensors are incompatible with a JT built prior to that date.

I'm not sure exactly what changed, although I suspect it is something in the communications protocol. I've been trying to find the new sensors for the wheels I ordered, and the sensors are backordered everywhere. Here's a link to further discussion;

If it was that old. There is a decent chance that they won't work at all with your truck. The only way to know for sure would be to look at the make and model of the TPMS sensor.

I'm not sure if there is a Costco near you. But I had 4 sensors put in a set of mounted snows that I put together. It was $35 per tire including labor and a re-balance. That is tough to beat in my book.
