So how do you pack a fridge to prevent this? Serious question. I’ve been eyeballing hybrid campers for a while now and would have to deal with this. Didn’t have this problem on my pop up.

Wifey got some dividers from Amazon that worked pretty good. Leave the eggs in their foam store container. Don't put glass containers next to each other.

I would say the Grand design has a better build quality than the IBEX.
For me, that is pushing the limits of what I want to tow with a Gladiator. I would make sure it's empty when towing.

If we buy it. First thing is to hit the scales on the way home to give me a baseline.

Glass containers being apart makes total sense. Not that I use glass much anymore.

So these dividers are a sort of fence in front of the door to keep everything in once you open the door at arrival? Huh, didn't know they made such a thing. Thanks

That's not legal in very many states. Then some require the first trailer to be a fifth wheel. And most only allow doubles.
Then again, it's only illegal if you get caught.

Ok, so it looks like I will have some life changes(personal) in the next 18 months which will allow me to get back to my roots. So I will be looking for a Camper but can be multi-purpose. I have a Mojave, so weight is one of my strong considerations til I LS swap.

Looking to see what you're all running and got. I think this set up will cover everything I need, after 20 years in the Army I don't need a much and have no need for an onboard bath. The AC is the only option I care about, I can handle cold.........hot and sticky.....hell no

New: $26k'ish, prefer new
Used: $14kish, if super clean, I will save the money.

Dry Weight

1,580 - 2,110 lbs

Low weight, open space to accommodate other people or for my MTB, packs, solo stove and additional for drinks cooler. I also like the pull out kitchen station as well.

I like the concept of this for sure...
