I went to the Thursday one! It was a blast! Some of those climbs were pretty steep. I took some vids and pics as well and they just don’t do it justice. The trails they took us on were pretty worth while! For even being blues and greens. And the views were gorgeous. I might like AOAA more than Rausch now, even for the small sample size of the trails that we saw. I did get a email for a review, but not the early attendance one yet. A lot of the info they gave us was basic and all stuff I already knew, but I took my wife b/c I wanted her to learn. She wants to attend another one just for an excuse to go somewhere for a small get away and to be able to wheel with that many ppl again. Only gripe I had was I wish they could have split the jeeps up based on difficulty some how. Whether it be stockers together or modified in another group. Cuz some people were slowwwwwwwwwwww. But overall a blast. I will attend another.

Adding a couple more photos.

Agree with Jglad15 it may be good to arrange the group by complete novice vs. experience or lifted vs. stock or something.

Yeah I have been off-roading enough now to say I’m not a beginner. And I figured this would be more for beginners, however I thought I would get some more intermediate to difficult instruction if they could have grouped it a lil better to learn more and to not just cater to first timers.

Loved everything about this Rubi. It was one of their display vehicles. I have been shopping for something other than black wheels and really liked these but I think some of the stock wheels are a little heavy. Might keep an eye on the marketplace for a set of these.

LOL! That same JT was at JAA in Ohio a few weeks back. I also took pics to show the wheels and poke because I liked them a LOT.

These events are meant for beginners with stock Jeeps. I even asked one of the JAA guys when we were going to air down and he explained we wouldn't be doing that here. 😀

I enrolled just to get some trail time some place I had never been. I will say that at some obstacles when I rolled up and the guide saw the lift/tires and that I had a Rubi, they sent me on some "side trails" that the rest of the group didn't get to experience. That was pretty nice.
