Does anyone have any experience with the truxedo elevate telescoping rack?

there isnt much information out there. But in comparing it to the yakima outpost hd I do like that it adjusts down a bit shorter to 18 inches.

I don't have any experience but I did some research and it looks like the towers were pulled off the market for some reason. I did not reach out to them to confirm but if you are seriously interested in them I would start with Truxedo.

It looks great, but I think they pulled it off the market because of failures under weight. The bars on it are vertical and probably couldn’t withstand lateral forces. Hopefully they will reintroduce it with some minor modifications.

So I'm not the only one thinking that some of the racks are not really solid designed for loads lateral or front to back too for that matter. Lacking in bracing. I wouldn't be surprised if someone was to be rear ended and have their RTT launched into the vehicle that hits them with some of the racks or into the cab area.

Or equally as bad, be IN their RTT and the rack collapses..
