Tube Doors for Gladiator vs Wranglers

What the heck? Tube doors from my 2018 Wrangler JKU wont fit on my new 2022 Gladiator...not wide enough by about 1.5 inches. The doors I had before were only $300....cheapest tube doors I've found for Gladiator are $600. WHY such an increase? Anyone else know of a less expensive solution?

Look on OfferUp, Craigslist, FB marketplace or here. I found a brand new Mopar set still in plastic for 400.

I bought Quadratec tube doors for my Gladiator. The tube doors fit my front hinges, but the rear door hinge pins were too big. They are supposed to be 150mm width, but i measured them at about 157mm.

Sent them back. Talked with them 3 different times and sent the above pictures, but they assured me their product was accurately made.

Sad part Is I really liked the front tube doors.

There's a global raw materials supply crunch.

The downturn in demand for certain things during covid has surged back, while the raw materials to make them were backlogged for covid related production and shipping issues.

Then you have other sectors which should be fine joining in with price gouging, because they can.

Just like airlines. During covid far fewer people were travelling. Now, lots of people want to go at the same time but there's a hard limit on number of planes and crews that can fly, so prices go wild.

It'll all settle down as supply catches up and people's demand tampers down with the high prices.
