One interesting thing the bronco can do that we can't do yet is keep the front locked when doing trail turn assist. Obviously the rear diff must be open for this to work.
It seems counter-intuitive to try to do a tight turn with the front locked. How does that work? But I never thought about the fact that we can't lock front only. Good point.

I played with it on a test drive. The steering definitely got wonky, but I was on a gravel surface so it worked.

If you think about it as trying to maximize forward traction at low speed while still making the turn in one cut, it makes sense. You lose your locked rear,, but maintain your locked front.

It sounds weird, but it works. If you ever go to a rock crawl event, you will see it in action.

Ya, being able to lock and unlock quickly on a Bronco is nice. BUT, having a truck is BETTER! ?

For what it's worth, I just updated using a Mac.

macOS Big Sur 11.6.3 (Beta) and ZPU version 1.6 (5)

I'm guessing the issues are with macOS Monterey.

Kinda off topic, but when I updated to the new version I lost my license plate lights turning off when rear cam is on (reverse and turn signal). Has this happen to anyone else with the new version?

It worked for me for every version except the newest.

I forget… Do you have to Unmarry when you upgrade the Tazer firmware? Or can I just pull it, update it and plug it back in?

It's not specified in the manual but I guess it's suggested to unmarry. I never do and haven't had any issues updating.

I actually emailed them months ago asking if license plate blanking could be opted out of, because I am not a fan of that feature. They said they'd make it optional on the next release, so I assume I wasn't the only one. Anyway, you might have to turn it on in the settings manually now. My problem with it was 1) I don't have the glare issue many have, so it may be that some state's licenses cause the glare and others don't 2)I didn't want a faulty equipment ticket if I happen to be stuck at a red light with a cop behind me, and I have no license plate light. If it just did it in reverse, and not with turn cam, I'd like it.

I actually agree with both your points, I have just have gotten used to them blanking out. I've looked in the menu and manual twice to see if a on off thing, and remarried twice to make sure installed properly. I'll have to to recheck tomorrow.

In my case, I feel like I can actually see better with the lights on. It might be total placebo affect, but with them off, I feel like I'm just staring into darkness. I would love if it could be disabled.

Doesn't look like they've updated the manual yet. It doesn't even have turn assist in it.

You forgot the most important part.
You can get a Gladiator
Bronco is still a crap shoot, and when they do show up, dealers are screwing over buyers with surprise ADM.

I reserved a Bronco in July 2020 and officially placed the order in January 2021.
Still waiting
Ordered a gladiator on 11/24/2021 and drove it home on January 8th
