TurtleBack trailer purchase experience

Hello all. New to the JT forum. Just wanted to share my experience with a TB trailer purchase. Do not want anyone in the community to have my experience. It is kinda of a lengthy read. If your in the off-road trailer market, definitely worth the read.

Loosing my sh** was a considered option. The wife did…..on me! I did the research. She knows me, “how the hell did you find these guys”?!

The Shock kept us from talking during pick up. Literally. When we returned a few hours later to a closed shop that gave us 4 days to recover. To start the process over again, and again.

if this would have happened 20 years earlier in my life, definitely a different story.

I did a lot of research. Read many articles about lots of trailers, before purchase Never found a negative review with TB.
How is that even possible? IDK.

We have made the best of it. Time to share.

Done a few updates to the trailer.
8x6.5 oil bath hubs
37” tires with 20” wheels.
Lowered the front step plate from top to bottom with 1/4 steel plate reinforcement.
Started the TurtleShell. 2” Aluminum tube fenders and box protection.

More updates.
Flipped the water tank 90* and removed the two upper drawers to create one larger flat surface. This was an idea when the water tank was first built.
Added a hitch sleeve for better towing with 40’s on the tow vehicle.
Modified the trailer jacks for better positioning with mounting for transport.
Added cage hinges for future over the tent roll cage.
