So I was walking through the 4fest expo at the Nitro Rallycross race near me a few weeks back and get chatting with a rep from Tyri lights, a brand I had never heard of before that day. Learned that they are the OEM supplier for a bunch of heavy industrial and farming lighting equipment, and for some AEV products. Filled out the slip to enter into their giveaway contest, just like I did at the half dozen other booths. Lo and behold, I get an email telling me I had won a week later and the box with my new lights showed up last night!
Ordered some open box KC hilites A-pillar mounts and a cheap all in one wire harness and for about $60 everything is mounted and wired up.
Lights are really heavy duty, thick metal housing, thick lens, just really solid feeling. Now I just need the sun to go down and get some pictures of how bright the 4,300 lumens each they claim actually is!
… and of course there is an extra screw from removing the trim around the steering wheel.
