Uconnect traffic not working

Uconnect traffic overlay on my 2025 Mojave X was always working about 80 percent of the time and would take a few miles to appear. Then earlier this week it just stopped all together.
Called uconnect and they said I show active as I am paying $10 month now that trial is over.
GPS works fine, radio works fine, remote start and vehicle location on app as well.
I tired both a soft and then a hard reset as uconnect support told me and still no traffic overlay.
Supposedly I will get an escalation call early next week. Anybody else have issues with the traffic flow overlay?

Mine only works if the setting is off! lol. Talk about weird shit. Cycle it off maybe it'll work

For me it only shows traffic if I toggle it off. Try it

Sounds like maybe an update messed with something. Definitely a software issue.
Hopefully they will put out another update to fix it soon!
I called uconnect and when they call me back on the escalation I will let them know a few others are having issues.

Google maps provides traffic for free. That's outrageous. My 2020 Gladiator came new with 5 years of free traffic.

Ok, uconnect called and went over a few things with me. Had me check the weather feature and it said content not available.
Also had me check if the navigation was showing fuel prices and it isn't either.
Had me go to an info page for the navigation and the network showed connected but "token status" was not received whatever that means.
Had me send some pics of these screens to him and they are checking into it.
Starting to wonder if I messed something up with whatever receives this info when I installed my mesh sunshades??
I have used those in the past on Wranglers and it never caused an issue but those had the antenna mast on them.
No idea what antenna receives the traffic and weather info on a 2025.

I don't think it's anything you did to mess it up. Mine also recently stopped showing any information related to traffic, weather, fuel, etc. It worked most of the time until a couple of weeks ago. I noticed if I go under the Navigation/Options/About menu it shows the tokens are not being received. When it connects properly, it should show the tokens being requested and received. Now it shows the token request exceeded maximum requests.

Ya, just looked and mine says that now as well. They definitely have some kind of software issue. I will post whatever info I get on the resolution as I get it.

Dealer wasn't much help. They don't know and said there is an open ticket with uconnect to address it.
Uconnect thinks it is a tom tom issue as it's the traffic flow overlay, the live gas prices, the weather app that aren't working now.
I also remember there was something in the apps that let you play some games while you were parked and those are gone now too.

Thank you for the update on this! I'm not positive, but it seems like my Uconnect software updated recently and then the traffic feature stopped working right after that. At any rate, it's good that they recognize there's an issue and have an open ticket.

We have three Uconnect 5 vehicles, including a Jeep. I was emailing with support for another one of our cars about this issue and they said TomTom believes it fixed the issue. It took another day, but now that car is again seeing traffic and weather info. Hopefully, it's fixed for everyone.

That would be nice! I know when I talked to support the other day they were saying it was a tomtom issue. Said once they figured it out everything would just come back on its own.
I will check later when I have to drive!

Yes, mine started working again today also. I noticed the fuel prices were showing up and then I had to go into the nav settings and enable showing the traffic flow because it was unselected.

Ya, after driving a few minutes, the traffic overlay popped up, as well as gas prices.
Weather app also working and not saying check your subscription.
And in navigating settings where it says "token" it now says "valid".
Hopefully it all stays!
