been to the dealer twice so far.

dead cold start(sitting overnight), the engine sounds like it has a faint diesel sound on the right side.
sitting at idle its faint, driving slow or any mild acceleration its pronounced. Ive tried to take a few videos of it.
they aren't great. this is the best i could get without a ton of wind noise.
You can hear it right as i start rolling.
the sound completely goes away when engine is warmed up.
from my house to the dealer, less than 3 miles and 3 traffic lights. its warmed up and the sound is gone.
Ive left it overnight at the dealer, twice now.
they claim they cannot hear it and since there is no misfire codes there isn't anything they can do.

Wind noise in both videos make it hard to discern anything.

wouldn't it be easier to identify parked at idle?

Mine has always since day 1 had a similar sound when cold. I’m at approx. 227,000mi without issue thus far…
I swear that I've replied to you before that mine's the same. Since day one brand new, the valves are a little noisy at startup but get quiet within five minutes once it's warmed up. I'm only at 59k miles, though.

it does not really happen at idle. its very noticeable when i drive slow speeds. like from a stop sign or leaving the driveway.

it happes just as i pull away. There's kind of a "diesel" sound. it will happen every time i go from a stop. It stops completely once the engine has warmed up.
