I cancelled my bronco badlands and traded my 20 jtr for a 22 jtr what I don’t understand is where people think a Colorado or canyon weighted the same can hang with a jtr my black 20 jtr with 38s and 4.88 gears won’t be topped by a stock colorado

We have both at home. It’s really personal preference. Bronco is a better everyday drive car, gladiator is better off road.
Honestly, wife drives her bronco everyday and really likes it. I drive my gladiator everyday and wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I don’t have a high opinion of Ford and her bronco had some issues upon delivery that still isn’t completely taken care of. It’s really up to the person and what you want and how you’d use it.

I am of the school of thought that the Bronco competes with the Wrangler not the Gladiator, when Ford cones out with the four door Bronco pickup they teased us with then there will be a lot to consider. I actually like the looks of the Bronco and it is the only real thing that goes against the Wrangler. My only negative comments are the look and fit of the soft top looks poor and the hardtop just looks too small or short. I think it is great that there is another choice out there….Jack

I need truck capabilities and ability to tow a few times a month. A bronco is not really an option for me.

I love when people call the Gladiator a small truck. Ever park next to a Ranger or S10? The Gladiator looks huge in comparison.
Funny thing is my new gladiator feels like it’s got a much smaller footprint than my LB Tacoma I happily gave up in trade. And it matters a little bit in the city. I know they used to make the sub-full sized smaller. Had a very handy 94 Toyota PU that was sure great.

Yup. I’d take my Sport Gladiator over a Badlands too. The more I look at those Broncos recently, the more I don’t like them lol. Particularly the 4 door ones.

I don’t think I have brand loyalty but I just think Wranglers and Gladiators look better. For example, I’d take a F250 Tremor over a Power Wagon…or a Mustang GT350/500 over a Hellcat.
They’re all ugly af!

At this point no. There are just way too many quality issues with the Bronco right now. And more seem to be popping up weekly. My Black Diamond was built two weeks ago and is awaiting shipment. I'm passing on it. I have another order with Chapman for a Big Bend Sasquatch. I'm pretty far down on the list so I won't see it for at least a year. I'll see how things are then.
I’m so confused by your post, you say stay far away and yet you’re buying one. ?

I said the other order will be at least a year out. And I would wait until then to see how things are in regards to quality. I'm staying away now. Don't think that is confusing at all.

I loved the old Nissan hardbody trucks. They were virtually indestructible and the 4 cylinder 5 speed models felt quick and got great mpg
