Yea I think it was closing time… I see press weights on the drivers front and sticky weights on the pass front. Shake at 60mph and they chipped two rims. They told me to come in and they will make it right. I told them to refund the install cost and take my number out of their system they will not touch any of my vehicles again.

This would only be an issue if you had the diff locked the whole time. With open diffs, wheels are allowed to spin at different speeds. Put the smaller tire up front and only lock the rear.
Occasional slip with open diffs is different than trying to drive two drastically different tire diameters simultaneously. That can and likely will damage the differential. It might not be a catastrophic failure that time, but will very likely cause unnecessary wear. I just don’t understand that risk to avoid spending a few hundred on a tire.
