Sounds like they inflated the tires to the max rating on the sidewall, not too bright. I,second using the OEam recommendation on the door pillar.
Cheers

When I got mine, 40 psi had me bouncing around. Also settled on 37 with the stock tires. Now running 38’s and have them at 40 psi.

On my JLUR, 36 PSI cold was my sweet spot on stock 33" tires.
On my new Gladiator Rubicon, I have it at 37 PSI on stock 33" but it is a bumpy ride on freeway speeds. I may have to bring it down to 35" maybe.

315 70 17 BFG KO2s and my jeep likes 44 in the rear and 41 up front. They are E rated as well. I had them at 33 because that's where I ran the JKU at but the JT seems to ride better with the higher PSI. I also recently swapped the shocks to Rubicon Fox takeoffs and Rubicon front springs on my Max tow and the higher PSI makes for a solid ride. Not bouncy, not to stiff.
