Anyone have an idea what goes or used to go here. Passenger side inside frame forward of tran/transfer main support.

it is possible it is something I removed when installing the skid plates but I kinda doubt it. I dont see anything dangling indicating something is gone but its dark and hard to see.

Now that I've posted a photo of it, I'm wondering what all those swirls are from. Nothing I did to it.
Looks like it's plastic. Probably just a natural aging component with those swirls, or things have hit it so its doing its job

Those are from a D/A - dual-action sander. Not sure why they would be there.

I'd be more concerned as to why your trans cross brace is moving around…. You can see the shiny spots of the bolt washers in the first photo of this post.
