So how are you all going about it after you got the wrong ones? Im trying to help him figure out what he needs to do.

In my case, I refused delivery. It seems once Walmart was able to confirm the delivery was refused and the tires were never in my possession, they processed the refund the same day. It was coincidently shortly after I called my CC provider to file a claim. Most CC providers will offer a full temporary credit during their investigation. I needed only send a screenshot of my order and the photo I took of the tires on the truck. I'm not a CC fan, or debt in general, but I lean on them for big online purchases for the above reason. Let them scrabble over it.So how are you all going about it after you got the wrong ones? Im trying to help him figure out what he needs to do.
In that case maybe text them a pic of the wrong tires so they can file a dispute? If they supply the receipt (email screenshot worked in my case) and the photo, they can go to bat for him. Once validated that he was in the right, it will be up to Walmart/Simple tire to figure out of they want the wrong tires back. Likely they'll leave them but at least your neighbor will have been covered. He is on vacation and was not around for delivery, but I checked to see if they were the correct tires for him and they were not.
Because the Faulkens are not good. A lot of people on the forum complain about them, especially in the snow.i have some Faulken Wild Peaks 285/70/R17's with less than 1,400 miles on them and can't find a person who is slightly interested for $700 for 5 tires.
These are MT's.
Those are small wheels that look horrible. That's why you took them off, right?I feel your pain. Almost couldn't give my stock Sport S wheels and tires away. Finally someone took them for $250
Mostly. However, I also wanted to have a little better traction and clearance for the light offroad trails I plan to drive. In reality, I didn't want to look like I was driving a skateboard everywhere. Those are small wheels that look horrible. That's why you took them off, right?
I wouldnt look for simple tire to respond. BBB has many complaints that they dont ever respond.I just emailed simple tire asking if there was a mix up in tires. I got an email from Walmart stating they were back to being cheap. Only reason I even contacted them. If they respond I'll push it out on here.
Yep they got me too. Already started the return process. Sucks...Just a heads up for those that ordered the 35" MXT tires. I received a set of street tires, refused the order, working on refund now. Fulfilled through Simple Tire.
Quick follow-up: Contacted both Walmart and SimpleTire. Walmart punted the blame on simple tire, SimpleTire punted it back on Walmart. I then disputed the charge and miraculously 10 minutes after hanging up with my CC provider, I got an email from Walmart stating they are processing the refund now.
Good ending all in all, I've read instances where folks waited weeks for a resolution with Walmart specifically on tires. The hunt resumes!

Now that is some ?? hoops to jump through...sorry man. I think I learned my lesson and won't be posting any more tire deals for a while. So I emailed SimpleTire through the Walmart website about my order:
and waited the required 48 hours for their response before I loaded the mis-shipped tires into a shopping cart and wheeled them into the customer service area at my local Walmart last night. I provided a copy of my order email and explained the problem. I was quickly informed that since these tires were not sold directly by Walmart, but instead by SimpleTire as a Walmart Marketplace vendor, that I would have to request a "return" through the Walmart website from SimpleTire. After a little persistence with the manager, he called the Walmart 1-800 # and spent 20 minutes explaining the situation about how this has happened before with bait and switch tires and that SimpleTire does not like to respond back (thus the BBB complaints). They assured me that I would be hearing from someone within 24 hours and gave me the phone # to contact the Walmart billing Dept if I didn't hear from them.![]()
Well, I just received this email from SimpleTire:

A "Return Request" has been initiated and sent. Awaiting return labels.
No worries buddy! Things happen. I appreciate you letting us know about the salesNow that is some ?? hoops to jump through...sorry man. I think I learned my lesson and won't be posting any more tire deals for a while.
. I would much rather take the chance on a super deal than miss out on one. I myself, since I work as a parts advisor in a dealership, will start reading all the way down to the fine print just to make sure the part # matches the description.
