Going to disagree. My C rated 37 BFGs handled Hells Revenge, Steel Bender, and Golden Spike in Moab pretty well.

Ran the 38s on my diesel for the last 25k. Major off-road trips and I drive let’s say harder than most.

They wear crazy fast if you don’t run 40psi cold but off-road they’ve been amazing. Also at 1/3 the cost of any other tire I just threw on another set.

I like my Patagonias but they do wear super fast. Not sure if I’m going to stick with the brand or go another route later this year. They look good and do good off and on road though.
