Walmart Policy - Pants Required

So I called Walmart to see if they had the Snoopy Zebco in stock.
They did.

I went to the store to get it, and apparently they have some kind of a company policy that says everyone has to wear pants.
It would've been helpful for them to have mentioned this when I called.

Surely they would know that just about any grown man wanting to purchase a Snoopy Zebco would likely go shopping with no pants on.

What the heck is it with these companies these days?! ?

Damn...just went and looked back at that thread and its locked. I made a genuine reply that I took mine off since i didnt want the shop to screw up the lights/bolts.

He started calling people stupid, and otherwise berating them for pointing out that it was not the shop's responsibility to spoon-feed to him.

If I have someone doing work for me, I always ask how I can make it easier for them
