To make a long story short, i won an awesome Road Armor winch last weekend at an overland festival. I need to get a new bumper in order to install it which is cool because I had the bumper as my second desired item behind a RTT but now those two switched.

I’m looking at the following bumpers

1) Summit Series by Rebel Offroad - It looks good. It’s also one of the more expensive bumpers in the lineup I’m looking at But I do have $250 credit at their store
Jeep Gladiator Want to get some input on new front bumper DDB45BF1-B353-4392-B7BB-29B0163374B7

2) ARB Mid Length - Quality brand and not horrible on the wallet as it comes in well under $1k

3) Reaper Off-Road Immortal F1 - Also well under 1k. Has a solid look and decent reviews

4) Road Armor - Stealth mid - OK so I honesty never heard of RA until I got the winch. They seem to have some quality products….but also rather high prices but one of their sponsors was at the event and she swears by the brand and her gladiator looked great kitted out w/ their stuff.
Jeep Gladiator Want to get some input on new front bumper B0DF6E84-EB3B-4E86-A8EF-400C51295C0C

5) Last but certain not least is Paramounts Guardian Bumper - this is a strong contender but I’ve never heard of them before so not sure on quality/reliability. Ideally my goal was to sorta find something like the AEV EX but with the hoop just a couple inches down from where theirs sits. This seems to be somewhat in that ballpark

So there they are. The 5 I’ve waddled down to. if you have had any of these or seen these in person, I’m interested to get your thoughts.

My vote would be for CavFab or Evo …

Can you give some more criteria on selection? Are you asking for more suggestions? Sounds like $1k or less, hoop but lower, also from the ones you posted a lower mounted winch. Any thoughts on weight, factory compatibility, and tow points/jack points?

Hey! So i looked through a ton of options the past week and selected these 5 as ones I liked the most. Nothing will be perfect but ideally I want:

- stubby/mid width
- allows for aftermarket fog lights (I have oracles)
- low-mid hoop height
- powder coated
- I don’t have a lift but added a rack and when I go camping pack up the back so the lesser weight the better.

The thread was made to see what people thought of those five, however, recommendations are always welcome because the aftermarket options seem endless so there’s likely some I overlooked!

Also should mention I’ve never been a vehicle mod guy. This is the first vehicle I’ve purchased. I installed the Armorlite floors and dv8 latches myself as well as the rebel off-road half rack. Any tips are also welcome!

Ah cool I can connect the dots between the five looking at them now. That is a pretty good set of criteria. Those look like excellent matches. To play devils advocate have you thought of maybe just adding like the mopar steel with winch plate? Should be pretty light, converts to stubby when/if needed, will house fog lights, can be found cheap as take off. There are also factory like options like rugged ridge arcus which comes with many features and less weight. Can get it with a small bull bar and have seen it on sale for sub $600 iirc. Winch bolts right in.

A lot of these bumpers are just too heavy and overbuilt IMO. They make sense if you are making contact with trees, rocks and ground A LOT ?
