I got that exact color for my 19 month old daughter's first Hot Wheels. We were playing with it less than an hour ago!

I actually keep some of those around for when I’m out and about and find a nice gladiator. I cross out “ducked” on the tag and write “trucked”

In the stairwell down to our basement, there's a shelf around the perimeter where I keep car show trophies and toys of the carious vehicles I've had over the years. I've been given a LOT of toy cars over the years like this. I wouldn't call it ducking. I think it's a bit better than ducking. Ducking is an inside joke sort of thing. Haha. Fine and good. A toy version of your car is an indicator that your car is special enough for children to look at it, knowing nothing about it from a technical perspective, and think it's something special that they want to play make believe with. Project their dreams and fantasies on. If your car is cool enough to be made into a toy, it's genuinely cool. To be gifted a toy version of your car is recognition of that. Much cooler than an inside joke.

That is the Gladiator equivalent of Ducked. Some of the Gladiator owners give those out instead of ducks.

I traveled the country building 4WP stores for the last couple years. I carry a bag full of these that I pick up at either Target, Walmart or even grocery stores. I use these as "Ducks" I like to watch the reaction of the owners from a distance. I really like when they have kids and to see the reaction of the little ones is pretty cool. I don't approach them; I just like to see people smile.
I also found 4 of these at Target and gave them away to other GLAD owners. They are low end, but it was really awesome to watch people's reaction.

Just off I95 near Melbourne there is a Flea market. There is a guy there that has a LARGE Hotwheels collection off site. He has a bunch. I purchased all he had at the market, But as I mentioned he has a bunch more at a separate facility.
